Scott Cannon Jr.

Scott Cannon Jr. got his start in motor sports working on his father’s racecars when he was just ten years old.

“My dad started out bracket racing and I would go with him and learn everything about the cars I could. I would cool the car down after each run, check the tire pressure and refuel the car. As I got older and my dad got faster, I learned more and more technical things about the cars. I ended up working on his nitro cars in the late 1990’s. My first stint driving was in the National Hot Rod Association’s Pro Stock Bike category. My dad didn’t just hand me the keys to one of his cars and say go for it, he made me earn it,” Cannon Jr. said.

As the 2007 International Hot Rod Association Pro Modified World Champion, Cannon Jr. has proven himself behind the wheel.
